ASC Industries was selected as one of Advance Auto Parts’ 2005 Vendors of the Year at an awards banquet held in conjunction with Advance’s recent Leadership Conference and Vendor Expo in Lake Buena Vista, FL. Accepting the award on behalf of ASC were company president Ted Swaldo and customer service representative Debbie Whaley.

“I am extremely proud to have been recognized by Advance Auto Parts as one of their top suppliers,” said Swaldo. “This honor solidifies ASC’s employees’ commitment to its customers and a quality product.” Swaldo and Whaley were presented the award by Advance Auto’s senior vice president of merchandising, Greg Haan, and executive vice president of merchandising and marketing, Dave Mueller.

To qualify as a Vendor of the Year, suppliers must meet several criteria including consistent high order fill, participation in category management, timely and accurate electronic parts catalog data, responsive customer and technical service, excellent product quality, competitive pricing and an offering of broad and late-model application coverage, all of which ASC met or exceeded.
