AASA Announces Partnership with Mitchell 1 to Provide Supplier Members with OE Parts Data

The Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) recently announced a partnership with Mitchell 1, a Snap-on Company, to provide the association's aftermarket supplier members with a comprehensive original equipment parts and application data program.

The Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) recently announced a partnership with Mitchell 1, a Snap-on Company, to provide the association’s aftermarket supplier members with a comprehensive original equipment parts and application data program.

“Through this exclusive AASA program, our members can receive OE part application data for major vehicle makes and models sold in North America at a 20 percent discount,” said Steve Handschuh, president and COO of AASA. “The Mitchell 1 OE Parts database is delivered through the Mitchell 1 Data Extraction Kit (MDEK) and is designed to work as a stand-alone information set or as information integrated with members’ third party applications,” he noted.

The Mitchell 1 Parts database contains OE part numbers, part description and part list price for domestic and import vehicles, Handschuh noted. “Most importantly, the database is model and component specific where necessary. Manufacturers’ notes or comments pertaining to OE Parts information are included,” he added.

Mitchell 1 OE Parts Supersede Data is included in the program. The Mitchell 1 PCOST database contains part numbers and pricing in the United States and Canada. It also includes availability and supersede information for all automotive parts including mechanical, body and accessories for U.S. and import vehicles. AASA member discounts also are available for this data.

AASA supplier members wishing for more information about the AASA / Mitchell 1 program should contact Chris Gardner of AASA, [email protected], or David Boyington of Mitchell 1, [email protected].
