ISN 2010 Tool Dealer Expo Event Sets Records for Sales and Attendance

If the results of the 2010 ISN Show are any indication, the automotive aftermarket is bouncing back from the recession with a vengeance. The event, which was held in Orlando, FL, at the Gaylord Palms Resort June 25-26, surpassed all expectations for both jobber attendance and sales.

The show featured more than 200 suppliers from the automotive tools and equipment channel. There were representatives from every type and segment such as Air Tools, Electronics, Paint and Body Equipment, Specialty Tools and many more.

“We knew this years’ event was going to be the best ever, but we never expected the percentage of increase we enjoyed over last year in terms of total sales,” said Scott Pilkenton, vice-president-marketing for ISN. “It is a testament to the hard work and effort of our vendor community. They brought deals this year that far surpassed anything previously offered to our jobber customers. I can’t tell you how many times we heard comments about deals being ‘too good to believe!’ Of course it didn’t hurt that we gave away over $200,000 worth of vehicles; including a 2010 Porsche Cayman! Add to that, the fact that we gave away over $300,000 in cash at the show, and you can see why the Tool Dealer Expo has become the one must attend event of the year.

ISN shows not only offer the chance for great deals, but there is also business training, hands-on product demos and events tailored for families and children.

The 2011 event will be held in Orlando at the Marriot World Convention Center.
