Bosch Announces Winners in ‘Drift into a Mustang’ Sweepstakes and ‘Create Your Own Performance Art’ Contest

The lucky winner in the 'Drift into a Mustang' Sweepstakes won a 2010 Ford Mustang GT with Ford Racing Performance package.

Michelle Fosnaugh, from Phoenix, AZ, has been named Grand Prize Winner in Bosch’s ‘Drift into a Mustang Sweepstakes’. The lucky winner, chosen in a random drawing, won a 2010 Ford Mustang GT with Ford Racing Performance package, plus:
• Canvas Performance Art Poster autographed by Vaughn Gittin, Jr.;
• Bosch leather jacket and rolling duffel; and
• Bosch spark plugs and wiper blades.

First Prize winner in the sweepstakes was Manuel Van Montoy, of Tempe, AZ, who won:
• One day drifting lesson with Vaughn Gittin, Jr.;
• Canvas Performance Art Poster autographed by Vaughn;
• Bosch leather jacket and rolling duffel; and
• Bosch spark plugs and Bosch wiper blades.

Sixteen Second Prize winners were also named, each receiving one set of Bosch spark plugs (up to 8) and a Bosch cap.
The sweepstakes, which showcased the power of Bosch Spark Plugs against the background of the fast-paced and exciting sport of “drifting,” was open to residents of the U.S. and District of Columbia holding a valid U.S drivers license and at least 18 years of age at time of entry.

Create Your Own Performance Art Contest
The Bosch ‘Create Your Own Performance Art’ Contest featured an online drifting game. Players piloted a replica of Vaughn Gittin, Jr.’s Bosch-powered Ford Mustang to create their own Performance Art and post it to the online gallery. Vaughn Gittin, Jr. chose a winner from among the entries posted each month. A total of four winners in the contest each received a signed Performance Art canvas art from Vaughn Gittin, Jr.  and a Bosch cap.

The winners were:
• Brent Parker – Round Lake, IL
• Toni Bila – Plymouth, MI
• Deanna Burleson – Puyallup, WA
• Anna Doyle – Valparaiso, IN

“We were thrilled to see the enthusiastic response that was generated by the Drift into a Mustang Sweepstakes and Create Your Own Performance Art Contest. The combination of Bosch Spark Plugs with Vaughn Gittin, Jr and the sport of drifting truly resonated with consumers,” said Pam Krebs, director of advertising and sales promotion for Bosch. “Drifting is an exciting and growing automotive sport worldwide, and Bosch is glad to be a part of it,” she said.
