MAHLE Clevite to Co-Host Upcoming Tech & Skills Regional Conference, Sponsored by AERA

The Tech & Skills Regional Conference replaces AERA's annual trade show with four, day-long regional conferences -- each featuring a different host.

MAHLE Clevite Inc. will co-host the upcoming Tech & Skills Regional Conference, a career development and networking event sponsored by AERA Engine Builders Association. The one-day conference will be held Oct. 10, at the University of NW Ohio – Lima. All engine builders, rebuilders, production engine remanufacturers and installers are encouraged to attend.

Bill McKnight, training manager and motorsports sales and technical representative for MAHLE Clevite, will present the day’s first technical session from 9:15 to 10:30 a.m. With more than 28 years of experience with MAHLE Clevite, McKnight will inform attendees how to recognize different signs and symptoms of bearing distress. Each attendee will receive a free MAHLE Clevite digital bearing distress guide, which details 25 common signs and symptoms of distressed engine bearings.

“As co-host of the Tech & Skills Regional Conference, MAHLE Clevite will have the opportunity to share its technical expertise with attendees looking to receive the benefits of a large conference in a smaller, regional setting,” McKnight said. “Our involvement in the Tech & Skills Regional Conference is yet another way we are showing our support of the industry and commitment to the need for continuing education.”

The Tech & Skills Regional Conference replaces AERA’s annual trade show with four, day-long regional conferences – each featuring a different host. This particular conference, co-hosted by MAHLE Clevite Inc. is the third of four regional conferences sponsored by AERA.
