MAHLE Clevite Launches New Online Catalog with Direct Ordering Capability

Launchpad allows users to search for any product within the MAHLE Clevite product offering and directly place an order for the product within one user experience.

MAHLE Clevite has announced the first phase of its new electronic catalog – Launchpad. Unlike other online catalogs in the aftermarket, Launchpad is the first Web-based catalog of its kind to include an electronic ordering function tied directly into customer accounts.

The information on the online catalog is comparable to what is found in MAHLE Clevite paper catalogs, but is updated in real-time through electronic updates.

“The new online catalog is an excellent addition to the growing number of electronic features on our Web site,” said Todd Campau, team coordinator II – data management. “At MAHLE Clevite Inc., we’re always looking for ways to enhance the user experience, and we believe that Launchpad, with its search and order function, does just that.”

Phase one includes the gasket and piston product groups, with the remainder of the MAHLE Clevite product line to soon follow. In this first phase, users are able to:

• Search light vehicle applications;
• Utilize search wizard to look up by year, make, model or engine;
• Click on the details image or part number when viewing available parts to see the full part detail containing part images and specifications;
• Print the part detail;
• Utilize the comprehensive interchange search; and
• Add parts from the online catalog to the company’s online ordering tool, MAHLECleviteOrder.com.
