Texas Service Dealer Rides Away on Orange County Chopper from NAPA BRAKE and CHASSIS

Bubba Dennis’ dreams of winning a custom Orange County Chopper appeared to be heading up in smoke as the Polish sausage finished dead last.

Bubba Dennis’ dreams of winning a custom Orange County Chopper appeared to be heading up in smoke as the Polish sausage finished dead last.

The famous sausage race at Milwaukee’s Miller Park, a daily event at each Milwaukee Brewers home game that pits the hot dog, Italian, bratworst and Polish sausages against each other in a race from left field to first base, seemed to doom Dennis’ chances in winning the grand prize in NAPA BRAKE and CHASSIS’ Orange County Chopper Sweepstakes.

Dennis and the three other national finalists each selected a stuffed doll of one of the sausages, which would be the sausage they would root for in the race. The finish would determine the order each would select a key to start the chopper. The person’s key that started the chopper would be the winner. Dennis’ Polish faded down the stretch to finish last.

Finalist Dave Zwiebel selected a key first since the Italian sausage won the race, but the chopper failed to start. A second-place finish by the bratwurst gave Guy Givens the second selection at the three remaining keys. But his key also didn’t start the chopper.

“I looked over at Ron (Walker) and said ‘one of us is going home with an Orange County Chopper,” Dennis said. “We high-fived, and then he went up there and his didn’t start it and I hollered ‘this baby is going to Texas!’"

After Walker’s key didn’t work, the chopper was indeed heading to Texas. Dennis took the remaining key, put it into the ignition and his chopper fired right up.

The Orange County Chopper Sweepstakes is one way NAPA BRAKE and CHASSIS thanks and rewards its customers for the loyalty they show to the NAPA BRAKE and CHASSIS brand.

The four regional winners were:
– Bubba Dennis – Dennis Quick Auto Service – Snyder, TX;
– Dave Zwiebel – Zwiebel’s Auto Repair – Pinebluff, NC;
– Guy Givens – Friemood Tire – Wabash, IN; and
– Ron Walker – Liberty Tire – Coeur d’ Alene, ID.

Thousands of service dealers participated in the NAPA BRAKE and CHASSIS Orange County Chopper Sweepstakes by placing a $250 order of NAPA BRAKE and CHASSIS premium parts such as rotors, drums, calipers, boosters and hydraulics.
