SKF recently launched the 2006 season of its Heavy-Duty Pit Crew Program, an incentive-based training program designed for heavy-duty technicians. The Heavy-Duty Pit Crew Program provides heavy-duty technicians with the industry’s latest technical tips, failure analysis data and product information.

As a member of the Heavy-Duty Pit Crew Program, heavy-duty technicians receive the latest technical information through periodic newsletters, product self-study guides and graphically-detailed technical manuals. Additionally, members gain exclusive access to the Heavy-Duty Pit Crew On-line Community, where they have 24-hour access to downloadable reference materials and technical data.

The SKF Heavy-Duty Pit Crew Program offers technicians the latest technical information on SKF’s full line of heavy-duty products, including Brakemaster Air Dryers, Scotseal wheel seals, Heavy-Duty tensioners and wheel end systems. SKF gathers its technical data through product research and development, and through its technical partnership with Richard Childress Racing’s NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Teams.

Each member of the Heavy-Duty Pit Crew program has the opportunity to redeem qualifying SKF product bar codes for various racing-related and SKF branded prizes. With each redemption, technicians receive an automatic entry into a grand prize drawing for a chance to become an honorary pit crew member for the No. 31, No. 29 or No. 07 Richard Childress Racing NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Team.

For more information on SKF’s Heavy-Duty Pit Crew Program and how to become an honorary pit crew member for an RCR NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Team, request the Heavy-Duty Pit Crew Brochure (#457687), contact your local SKF representative or visit www.vsm.skf.com.
