Affinia Group to Award $36,000 in Scholarships to Universal Technical Institute Students

Affinia Group Inc. will award $36,000 in scholarships to students at Universal Technical Institute, Inc. (UTI), a nationwide provider of technical training for automotive, diesel and collision repair technicians.

Affinia Group Inc. will award $36,000 in scholarships to students at Universal Technical Institute, Inc. (UTI), a nationwide provider of technical training for automotive, diesel and collision repair technicians.

Eighteen tuition scholarships, valued at $2,000 each, will be awarded to students attending one of the company’s automotive or diesel campuses in Mooresville, NC; Phoenix; Sacramento; Orlando; Houston; Glendale Heights, IL; Rancho Cucamonga, CA; Exton, PA; and Norwood, MA.

“There is a growing need in the United States for well-trained automotive, diesel and collision repair technicians,” said Jeff Stauffer, senior vice president of global group marketing, Affinia. “UTI and NTI are leaders in this field, and we are pleased to offer our support to students who have expressed a commitment to excel in this industry.”
