Miller Electric Mfg. Co. announces that metalworker and street rod fabricator Ron Covell will be making daily appearances in Miller’s booth (#24713 in the Racing & Performance section) at this year’s SEMA Show taking place in Las Vegas, Oct. 30-Nov. 2, 2007. Using Miller’s latest welding and cutting equipment, Covell will demonstrate his metalworking tips and techniques as he fabricates a custom ’32 Ford grille and motorcycle gas tank throughout the week. Visitors and fans are encouraged to stop by the Miller booth for metalworking tips and project advice.

Ron Covell, owner of Covell Creative Metalworking in Freedom, CA, travels the country holding metalworking workshops and markets a line of metalworking tools and videos. Extremely well-respected in the street rod industry, Covell’s cars and motorcycles have been featured in countless magazines. In addition, Covell writes technical articles and columns for various street rod enthusiast publications under the title of Professor Hammer.

He has used Miller equipment throughout his metalworking career. “I’ve trusted Miller’s products for their quality and reliability over my 42 years as a professional metalworker and fabricator,” said Covell. “Building a custom or one-off street rod has its challenges, I want people to know that with Miller in their shops, the welding comes easy. It’s an honor to be invited to demonstrate my work using their products at this year’s SEMA Show.”

Visitors to the Miller booth will also have the opportunity to participate in hands-on MIG and TIG welding and plasma cutting demonstrations.
