Once again, SPICER Chassis helped Joe Gibbs Racing drivers Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart take checkered flags over the past weekend at Darlington Raceway.

Busch captured his third NASCAR Sprint Cup victory of the ’08 season on Saturday by conquering Darlington at the Dodge Challenger 500. With his win, the driver of the No. 18 M&M’s/Indiana Jones Toyota Camry extended his points lead to 79 over Jeff Burton. Busch led seven times for 169 laps, and has led at least one lap in eight of the 11 races so far this season. This was his second victory in the last three Sprint Cup Series races.

“To win here at a place that’s so hard – whether it’s old asphalt, new asphalt, the regular car, the new car – it’s just unbelievable the way that this race goes about and the way that things happened,” Busch said.

Stewart took his first Darlington win during Friday night’s Diamond Hill Plywood 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series race. The driver of the No. 20 Old Spice Toyota started third and led three times to take his fourth Nationwide Series win of the season. This was also the fourth consecutive victory for the No. 20 Nationwide Series team, as Kyle Busch drove the No. 20 to victory at Mexico City before Stewart won at Talladega, which was followed by Denny Hamlin’s win last week at Richmond.

JGR partnered with SPICER Chassis Products, part of the Affinia Under Vehicle Group, at the beginning of the 2007 racing season. Drivers like Stewart and Busch rely on SPICER Chassis racing ball joints and tie rod ends that utilize the latest technology and offer lower friction and superior performance. The upper and lower ball joints are available in 1/2 inch short and 1/2 inch long specifications to provide flexibility from track to track.

SPICER Professional Grade chassis parts are manufactured by Affinia Under Vehicle Group of McHenry, IL, a global supplier of top quality automotive components for under vehicle applications. The SPICER Chassis product line is the most extensive on the market and includes tie rod ends, ball joints, idler arms and alignment products for both domestic and foreign vehicles.
