Continental Introduces New Elite Rewards Program Member Club For Technicians

In addition to the rewards-for-points aspect, members also get first crack at new products, enjoy quarterly program enhancements, special promotions and have access to an even larger pool of gift card reward choices. In the coming months, exclusive training will be made available.

Continental-Up-LogoContinental has announced the Elite RPM (Rewards Program Member) Club, reintroducing the company’s professional repair technician rewards program with improved features. The company has taken the same basic premise as before – the club offers rewards for redemption of proofs-of-purchase for Continental Elite products – and increased its benefits.

“This time around, we’re using the club to engage professional repair technicians who use our product,” said Tom Lee, North America marketing manager of Continental’s automotive aftermarket business. “Through our new social media channels, and even in the structure of the club itself, it will be easy for our members to be in direct contact with us. We really hope our members will use the new club to get in touch with us and be a part of the Continental community.”

Lee says this dialog with the membership who use Elite-branded products is important to the company. “We value their opinions; they’re the core of our business. They also are our link to the consumer. We want to know what’s on their minds.”

The company says Elite RPM is unique to the industry. In addition to the rewards-for-points aspect, members also get first crack at new products, enjoy quarterly program enhancements, special promotions and have access to an even larger pool of gift card reward choices. In the coming months, exclusive training will be made available. Members also will be periodically surveyed to offer their thoughts on industry trends.

In keeping with the directive to offer “more and better” to members, the new club comes with a cloud-based app that allows virtually all club functions to be accessed via smartphone. Members can use it to track their points, redeem points and choose rewards and interact with the club.

Elite RPM also will benefit warehouse distributors, as the program is a value-add they can use to promote the brand to professional repair technicians.
