King Bearings Earns Outstanding Service Award From Jasper Engines And Transmissions

King-Engine-Bearing-Logo-300x154King Engine Bearings has received its second consecutive award from Jasper Engines and Transmissions, one of North America’s largest remanufacturers of gasoline and diesel powertrain and drivetrain components. In 2012, King was awarded with Jasper’s Outstanding Service award, and now the company follows that up with its second consecutive Overall Quality award. For 2014, only five suppliers were awarded with this honor, based on Jasper’s stringent requirements.

“Each year, we strive to provide the best quality products that we can, and again this year Jasper has recognized us for our efforts,” said Limor DePetro, vice president of sales and marketing for King Engine Bearings. “With every year that goes by, more Jasper engines featuring King Bearings hit the road, with each engine demonstrating the quality and reliability of our bearings.

The award was established by joint nominating efforts between Jasper sourcing and quality teams in key areas such as: supplier scorecard results, corrective action requests, warranties, quality control first-piece history and quality issue resolution.

King Engine Bearings has been supplying Jasper since 1988, providing engine bearings for all makes and models of engines in Jasper’s remanufactured engine program.
