AMSOIL Launches Expanded Antifreeze And Engine Coolant Product Line

amsoillowAMSOIL announced its new Ethylene Glycol Antifreeze & Engine Coolant, now available in two formulations for passenger car/light truck and heavy-duty applications.

AMSOIL Ethylene Glycol Antifreeze & Engine Coolants provide excellent protection against metallic corrosion and erosion pitting, even in extreme temperatures and operating conditions, according to AMSOIL. The company says both offer superior corrosion protection for aluminum, steel, cast iron, copper, brass and solder alloys. Designed with a poly-organic acid formulation, AMSOIL Ethylene Glycol Antifreeze & Coolants virtually eliminate scaling problems. The 50/50 pre-mix is compatible with all other coolants and all cooling system materials including hoses, gaskets and plastics.

AMSOIL Propylene Glycol Antifreeze & Engine Coolant has been reformulated and offers many of the same benefits as the Ethylene Glycol formulation in a low-toxicity, biodegradable option. This makes it an excellent choice for those looking for a safer option around children, pets, livestock and the environment, according to AMSOIL. AMSOIL Propylene Glycol Antifreeze & Engine Coolant is a concentrated formulation that can be mixed to desired ratios.

AMSOIL Antifreeze & Engine Coolants are formulated to deliver extended service life in gasoline and diesel vehicles of up to 150,000 miles or five years in passenger cars and light trucks, or 600,000 miles or 12,000 operation hours in heavy-duty and off-road applications.
