The Gates Corp. has announced the launch of its new Acceleration Sessions training series.

The Acceleration Sessions program is a series of free online training videos designed to help counter staff and installation professionals get their knowledge up to speed. The sessions feature information on critical systems such as fuel, accessory belt drive, cooling and timing systems.

After each video, participants take a short quiz where a passing grade of 70 percent will earn chances to win prizes like NASCAR trips and tool packages, as well as instant dining cash.

“Based on our online surveys and in-person panel research, we’ve found that training is in high demand, and that respondents were very interested in online training because of its ease-of-use and flexibility,” said Todd Hack, vice president, Gates Automotive Aftermarket. “Gates has always been a trusted resource for technical information and repair solutions, so this program is a natural extension we’re thrilled to offer.”

Acceleration Sessions will run throughout the year and products will be rotated quarterly.
