Mac Tools and Kalitta Motorsports Are Wrenching for a Cure

A portion of the sales from several pink products is donated to the Stefanie Spielman Fund in honor of all the Mac Tools team members to help win the fight against breast cancer.

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Mac Tools and Kalitta Motorsports join forces to make a difference with the Mac Tools Wrenching for a Cure program. This program supports the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research and will be kicked off at the 29th annual Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals this weekend at the Maple Grove Raceway in Reading, PA.

As we join our fellow NHRA Drivers in support of this very special month, look for Doug Kalitta, the Mac Tools Red Baron, as he turns into the Pink Crusader in the one-of-a-kind Pink Mac Tools Dragster.

“We’re honored to help Mac Tools support the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research in Reading,” Kalitta, who is currently No. 2 in NHRA Mello Yello championship points, said. “I think almost everyone has had someone close to them be affected by breast cancer. Anything we can do to further the global message of finding a cure is something we’re committed to doing now and for as long as it takes.”

“We are so very appreciative for the partnership between the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research and Mac Tools," said Kim Collins, director, Community Partners Program. "Without the support of our corporate and community partners, we simply would not be able to fund the level of life-saving research that we are performing at Ohio State’s Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Partners like Mac Tools help us reach to new audiences to not only garner support, but to spread awareness on the importance of breast cancer awareness and screenings.”

For over three years Mac Tools has been a proud partner of the Stefanie Spielman Fund. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness the company has developed several pink products available for purchase by local Mac Tools Distributors.  A portion of the sales from each of these products is donated in honor of all the Mac Tools team members to help win the fight against breast cancer. These products are available for sale in Flyer 11 starting on Oct. 7 through Nov. 3.

As a part of the flyer, a one-of-a-kind official Team Kalitta crew shirt can also be purchased through your local Mac Tools distributor. Also available is a limited run Doug Kalitta Breast Cancer Awareness Top Fuel Dragster die-cast. Over the years, these have become great collectors’ items for our Mac Tools customers and community and with our “Wrenching for a Cure” program, these purchases help a greater cause.

Mac Tools and Team Kalitta fans can purchase these Mac Tools limited edition pink products, including pink tool carts and tool boxes, by contacting a local Mac Tools distributor or by calling the Mac Tools Customer Service Department at 800.MACTOOLS to find out how you can place an order today.
