Beck/Arnley has launched a new website at www.beckfluids.com to highlight its line of genuine, OE-quality fluids specifically designed for Asian import vehicles. The Beck/Arnley fluid line covers such vehicles as Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Toyota, Lexus, Scion, Subaru, Nissan, Infiniti, Acura and Honda.

“Beck/Arnley’s OE Quality fluids are a very important category, not only for Beck/Arnley, but for every import vehicle. Our dedicated new site, www.beckfluids.com, is built to help educate users and bring awareness to the importance of OE quality fluids,” said Sandy Norris, senior marketing manager for Beck/Arnley. “Many of the website’s features are built around providing useful information and tools for anyone using or selling Beck/Arnley.”

Visitors to www.beckfluids.com will find comprehensive information about the company’s genuine OE-quality fluid line, which includes automatic transmission fluids, antifreeze/coolants, power steering fluids, SAE OW-20 motor oil and Pentosin fluids, as well as a page where users can look up which fluid is formulated for a specific vehicle make.

The site also contains a frequently asked questions page with answers to common questions about Beck/Arnley’s genuine OE fluid line, in addition to a page to locate a preferred distribution partner to purchase the fluids. All of the fluid marketing materials have been added to the site, including brochures, reference guides and fact sheets, and are available for download. In addition, visitors to the site can watch the genuine OE quality fluids video featuring Beck/Arnley’s Director of Product Management Tom Fritsche, who provides a brief overview of the product line.

“We tried to pinpoint what we needed to include on the new website from the user’s standpoint,” said Norris. “Without over-crowding the site, we picked things that hopefully will help answer questions, educate technicians and counterpeople, and create a place where customers can keep up with the latest information on Beck/Arnley’s OE Quality Fluids.”

Belts and Pulley Alignment

A misalignment of the plane of the belt can occur when a pulley is not parallel to the other pulleys on the belt drive system.

Drive Belt Alignment Alignment is key to the health of an engine belt. The belt drive system is designed to create friction between the grooves on the belt and pulley to transfer power from the crankshaft to the alternator, water pump or power steering pump. If the grooves on the belt do not align with the pulleys, the friction won’t be evenly applied and can result in wear and noise.
