Gates Announces Release Of New Products To Serve Automotive Aftermarket

The Gates Corp. recently added 394 new parts to its catalog of quality automotive products. The new parts include turbocharger hose for VW and Audi applications, branched radiator hose, timing component kits with water pump, and small I.D. and molded hose.

The new additions to Gates’ product lineup include:

• Two Turbocharger hose for a total of 15 SKUs

• 23 new branched radiator hose for a total of 282

• 23 new timing component kits with water pump, bringing the total number available to 163

• 302 small I.D. & Molded Hose for a total of 4,414

• 16 BladeRunner Lawn & Garden Belts for a total of 201

• 11 FleetRunner Micro-V Belts, totaling 432 SKUs

• Nine DriveAlign Tensioners/Pulleys for a total of 491 SKUs

• One new DEF Hose for 30 total SKUs

The new SKUs from Gates include more parts for the fast-growing turbo systems market. Gates adds that it is expanding its new line of hose for turbocharger applications to add two new numbers for VW and Audi vehicles, raising its coverage to 1 million vehicles in operation. More makes will be added in the next six months, according to the company.

Gates also is expanding its range of OE exact branch radiator hose coverage with 23 new branched assemblies. This includes 15 new numbers for popular BMW applications with OE exact quick-connect ends.

Gates adds 23 new kits with many containing OE components for the most complete timing system repair solution, and remains the industry leader in kits including hydraulic tensioners, according to the company. Gates also has added 302 OEM style small I.D. and molded hose for late-model domestic and import applications.

The Gates announcement also features two products for cold weather stock-up season: Carbon tensile cord CVT belt for snowmobiles and SCR hose assemblies with carbon fiber heating system.

“We’re constantly expanding our OE-quality automotive aftermarket product line and application coverage,” said Dave Miller, Gates vice president of marketing, automotive. “We’ve added more than 1,200 new SKUs in just the past nine months.”
