Gabriel Added More Than 273 New SKUs In 2013

Gabriel (Ride Control LLC) says it is continuing its aggressive new product introduction schedule, adding coverage for more than 15 million light vehicles in the past 12 months. The company has added more than 273 new light vehicle SKUs in 2013. Included in the company’s new product introductions for 2013 are parts with higher VIO vehicle coverage such as new Gabriel Ultra Struts that cover 2009-2012 Toyota Corolla and Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix.

Why Bearings Fail

The inside of a bearing can be a hot place. When a bearing is cooling off, the contracting metal, air and lubricant can create a vacuum that is hopefully held by the seals. If the seals are worn and can’t hold the vacuum, the bearing or sealed hub unit will suck in outside air, debris and water. In some parts of the country that use salt on the roads, it is almost as bad as ocean water on wheel bearings.

In picking up his fourth weekly MOOG award, Gordon forced a four-way tie at the top of the $100,000 MOOG “Problem Solver of the Year” standings with just two races remaining in the 2013 season.
