As winner of the contest’s “On the Track” category, Blake Brown (pictured) will receive a $50,000 Champion racing sponsorship. Derek Fetter, winner of the “Off the Track” category, will receive a $5,000 prize.
Participants in the “On the Track” and “Off the Track” categories will compete for $137,500 in sponsorships from Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ iconic Champion brand.
Grassroots Racers From North Carolina, Georgia Win 2016 ‘Search For A Champion’ Grand-Prize Sponsorships
Chris Ferguson, a 26-year-old Dirt Super Late Model driver from Mount Holly, North Carolina, was selected to receive the $50,000 Search for a Champion grand prize in the Advanced category of the annual contest. Myles Rowe, a 15-year-old go-kart driver from Powder Springs, Georgia, was the winner in the Amateur category and will receive a $10,000 grand-prize sponsorship.
