Yokohama Tires Chosen as OEM Fitment for 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander

Mitsubishi has selected Yokohama tires as original equipment for its next-generation Mitsubishi Outlander. According to Yokohama, the four-door compact SUV will ride on Yokohama's P215/70R16 99H tires.

Mitsubishi has selected Yokohama tires as original equipment for its next-generation Mitsubishi Outlander. According to Jeff Carpenter, Yokohama manager, OE Sales & Marketing, the four-door compact SUV will ride on Yokohama’s P215/70R16 99H tires.

"The redesigned Outlander is getting rave reviews in the automotive press," said Carpenter. "It’s longer, wider and slightly taller than the first generation and should be a big hit. We’ve worked with Mitsubishi before, providing tires for the Diamante, Lancer and the first-generation Outlander. We’re glad to continue the partnership with Mitsubishi as part of our growing 2007 OEM fitment program."

Carpenter said the fitment program covers U.S. and Canadian vehicles.

With the addition of the Outlander fitment, Yokohama is now original equipment on a wide range of 2007 vehicles, including the Bentley Continental GT and Continental Flying Spur, Audi S8, the Lotus Elise and Exige, Porsche 911 Carrera 4, Lexus GS300 and GS430, Mazda MX-5, Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota RAV4, Suzuki SX4 and Subaru Legacy and Forester.
