Following the launch of their partnership announced in late 2014, Yokohama Tire Corp. (YTC) and KaBOOM!, national non-profit organization dedicated to bringing balanced and active play into the daily lives of all kids, has built a new playground in Southern California.

Yokohama joined forces with KaBOOM! and community groups Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, NeighborWorks Orange County and about 200 volunteers to build a fun, safe playground for local kids. The festive one-day build on Earth Day was done to ensure all children get the balanced and active play they need. All the new playground equipment installed is environmentally safe, and Yokohama and KaBOOM! plan to team-up to build other playgrounds in the future.
