Wells Vehicle Electronics Tech Team Expands Webcasts

The technical services team at Wells Vehicle Electronics (WVE) recently expanded its series of diagnostic case study videos with the addition of the CounterPoint and TechConnect web series.

The technical services team at Wells Vehicle Electronics (WVE) recently expanded its series of diagnostic case study videos with the addition of the CounterPoint and TechConnect web series. The new segments are specifically designed to answer frequently asked questions or questions submitted by WVE’s customers and video subscribers. CounterPoint and TechConnect have been added to WVE’s Tech Team webcast series, which the company said provides critical and timely troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic process case studies to technicians via livestream video.

The TechConnect video series, created in 2016, helps the Wells’ Technical Services Team better address viewers’ questions from the previous webcast and preview the next livestream. In each installment, a tech team member responds to previously submitted questions individually to further help technicians understand and apply techniques discussed during WVE webcasts. The team member concludes each video by sharing the topic and date of the next Tech Team webcast.

“The goal of our live webcasts is to educate and inform Wells customers about current issues technicians experience and how to correct them,” said Mike Becker, technical service instructor, Wells Vehicle Electronics. “We’ve taken it a step further with TechConnect as we personally answer questions our viewers have, and make sure they have everything they need to take on these problems in their own shops.”

The new CounterPoint webcasts feature both WVE tech team members and catalog department product specialists. During the five-minute videos, both experts educate viewers on a WVE product, its differentiating features and its various applications. The hosts also address frequently asked questions regarding the featured part, sharing both the technical and sales perspective.

“By expanding our video training to include topics like products and selling points, Wells Vehicle Electronics can better and more thoroughly provide relevant, top-notch content for both technicians and customers,” said David Boer, vice president of marketing, Wells Vehicle Electronics. “This speaks volumes about the quality and expertise of our team at Wells, as well as the extraordinary level of customer service provided to our technicians around the world.”

Filmed and produced at the WVE facilities in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, these free, award-winning videos have surpassed more than 13 million views and 28,000 subscribers on YouTube. All Tech Team webcasts are available in English and Spanish through the “Wells Vehicle Electronics” channel and others on YouTube, and the WellsVE.com website.
