UView Acquires MotorVac Technologies

The two companies have similar operational processes and share many of the same customers that will provide various synergies and increased efficiency.

Mississauga, Ontario — UView Ultraviolet Systems, a manufacturer of innovative service tools and products to the automotive repair industry, has acquired the assets of MotorVac Technologies Inc.

According to Phil Trigiani, CEO of UView, “The acquisition of MotorVac reflects our continuing commitment to provide innovative and functional products to the automotive service industry. Both companies share a passion for delivering the right tool to do the job and conducting a high-quality service. As a result, we will significantly increase the depth and breadth of our sales coverage resulting in significant opportunities for growth”

Based in Santa Ana, CA, MotorVac supplies professional automotive fluid maintenance equipment and service products that are distributed to more than 60 countries. The company was founded in 1992 when it introduced the CarbonClean fuel system cleaning machine and detergent-based solutions. It continued to expand its product line to service all vehicle fluids. Today, the company holds 17 patents.

“This acquisition establishes a platform for UView to become a full service solution provider of fluid maintenance products.” said Tony Ferraro, president of UView. “It also facilitates our entry into this growing market with a highly respected brand that is well known around the world.”
