The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) announced today that Justin Perry of Garland, TX, and Jonathan Strait, of Queen Creek, AZ, have been selected as the winners of the 2010 ASE Race Experience. Their names were selected from the list of technicians who registered to take an ASE test in 2010, or registered for the contest on the ASE website. Both received an expense-paid trip for two to Phoenix, AZ to attend a race event and meet drivers Kasey Kahne and Jason Leffler in person. In addition to the Race Experience, both winners will be profiled on the ASE website at www.ase.com.
Incorporated on June 12, 1972, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence was established as a non-profit organization to help improve the quality of automotive service and repair through the voluntary testing and certification of automotive technicians and parts specialists. Today, there are approximately 400,000 ASE- certified professionals who work in dealerships, independent shops, service stations, collision repair shops, auto parts stores, fleets, machine shops, schools and colleges throughout the country.
