Three New Overhaul Kits Added To The ZF Services LLC Product Line

ZF Services LLC, the strategic aftermarket business unit of ZF Friedrichshafen AG in the U.S., has announced three new overhaul kits added to the ZF Parts product line. The new part additions are being released to service the 8-speed automatic (8HP) family of automatic transmissions.

The recently released products by ZF Parts, a brand of ZF, are three of the most popular overhaul kits needed to service the 8HP transmission. The new overhaul kits cover the 8HP 45/70 X/HIS for BMW and the 8HP 55A for Audi.

Transmission Service
Quality oil also plays a decisive role in passenger cars with a ZF automotive transmission, as it influences both the shift quality and the service life. ZF automatic transmissions are therefore filled with high-quality, fully or partly synthetic ZF LifeguardFluid. Workshops should recommend a transmission oil change to their customers between 80,000 and 120,000 kilometers or at eight years, ZF says.

So that specialist installers can carry out this service rapidly, efficiently and simply, the ZF Services portfolio includes special oil change kits from the ZF Parts brand. Each genuine ZF Parts kit contains OE gaskets, seals and O-rings, all needed to seal the transmission. As these are genuine ZF parts, installers can be assured that the product will fit right the first time, every time. Every part is tested for proper tolerances to match industry standards, and is backed by ZF brand quality and OE engineering.

ZF Services has summarized the key work instructions for the oil change for automatic transmissions in the Service Information (no. 30094), which is available at www.zf.com/serviceinformation.
