This will be the first time STP has held a live chat on its Facebook page. The brand stated it is "excited to give fans the opportunity to interact with Petty like never before." Almirola will play emcee for the hour-long chat with “The King.”

“I’m excited to be hosting this Facebook chat with Richard and the STP team,” said Aric Almirola, driver of the No. 43 Ford Fusion. “To be able to talk with the fans directly, especially those who don’t get out to the track, is always a fun aspect of this job and I look forward to hosting.”

This season has been a great one for Richard Petty Motorsports and the No. 43 Ford Fusion team, with Almirola earning four top-10 finishes so far. As the team drives into the heat of the summer schedule, they look forward to moving up the points standings.

“I always enjoy talking to our fans whenever I get the chance,” said Petty. “It’s great that STP is giving us this opportunity to talk with our followers across the country. I’m looking forward to hearing their questions and seeing Aric as the emcee.”
