The Hybrid Shop Takes Home Gold ‘Stevie’ Award At American Business Awards

hybridThe Hybrid Shop (THS), a growing international network of dealers committed to providing expert care for hybrid-electric vehicles (HEVs), has been named a Gold winner in the New Product or Service of the Year – Consumer Services category in The 2014 American Business Awards. This year’s winners were selected from a pool of more than 3,300 nominations, coming from organizations of all sizes and industries.

In addition to the Gold win, THS also was recognized as a People’s Choice Winner at this year’s award event, held Sept. 12 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, Calif. People’s Choice winners were selected from more than 57,000 votes cast in July and August.

Since its founding in 2013, THS has achieved significant recognition as the authority on ‘all things hybrid,’ and cemented its status as a driving force in the automotive industry as a whole. As a leader in delivering exclusive, full-scale hybrid vehicle services, THS’ main focus is to provide real-world information about the rapidly-expanding HEV market, as well as training in its proprietary hybrid services, on how to diagnose, service, maintain and repair all hybrid vehicle systems. Additionally, THS says it is committed to its network of dealer partners, arming them with essential skills to help them continue to grow their businesses, serve new market segments and maximize their profits.

“We are thrilled to have achieved a Gold award at this year’s Stevie’s American Business Awards for the New Product of the Year – Consumer Services category, as well as a People’s Choice Award for our achievements,” THS’ Chief Visionary Officer, Matt Curry stated. “This recognition validates our goals and underscores the industry leadership we have achieved!”

As part of the organization’s ongoing commitment to industry education, THS will also be hosting a Complimentary Hybrid Training Day event for shop owners during the SEMA Show from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 3 in partnership with the area’s leading industry expert and the oldest independently-owned tire and auto service company, Ted Wiens Tire and Auto Centers in Las Vegas. The event is invitation-only, and registration is required. This November, THS will be exhibiting at the SEMA Show at booth No. 10218, in the Tools & Equipment section of the North Hall.
