WIX Filters is partnering with Babcox Media to sponsor the 2019 “Driving Performance” Award that recognizes Game Changers in automotive service.
The parts include 29 light-duty parts and 45 heavy-duty parts, among other new additions, according to the company.
WIX Filters, a valuable channel partner for Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper, hosted the meeting.
During the three-day meeting taking place March 24-26, attendees plan to discuss challenges with the Alliance’s Certified Service Center (CSC) program and brainstorm improvement opportunities. Representing top shop owners affiliated with Auto Value, Bumper to Bumper and Confidence Plus, the SCAC members bring unique perspective and profound insight to the discussions.
WIX Filters will be working with the entire Legend Car community in the United States, Australia, Europe and more than 29 other participating countries.

J.R. Todd, driver of the DHL Toyota Camry Funny Car, and Shawn Langdon, driver of the Global Electronic Technology Toyota Camry Funny Car, will represent WIX Filters on and off track. WIX also will be associate sponsor of the Top Fuel Dragsters driven by Richie Crampton and Doug Kalitta.
WIX first opened its doors in 1939 in Gastonia, North Carolina, where its headquarters are still located. The company is now part of the MANN + HUMMEL brand of innovative filtration technology, housing 11 facilities in eight countries and manufactures more than 210 million filters annually for customers spanning 80 countries.
New parts have been developed for the light- and heavy-duty, industrial, foreign and domestic markets.
In addition to WIX Filters’ presenting sponsorship of one of the NHRA’s premier events, WIX Filters’ Tundra Up promotion on Saturday will give away a 2019 Toyota Tundra Limited truck to a store sales manager who held a successful Filter Sale Day.
The winner will be selected from the four finalists, and celebrated with a ceremony in November and a formal announcement during AAPEX on Oct. 29.
The winning school will receive a $5,000 donation and a trip to AAPEX in Las Vegas.
