Auto Care Association Partners With University Of North Florida To Promote Industry Jobs And Careers
The centerpiece of the UNF outreach effort is an internship fair scheduled for March 1. The Auto Care Association is coordinating efforts to represent the auto care industry at the fair and is looking for member companies to participate alongside the association.
The event will feature Bob Woodward, two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and Washington Post associate editor, as a keynote speaker.
The four winners were selected by the Auto Care Association Marketing and Communications Committee during its recent meeting at Fall Leadership Days in Washington, D.C.
The second webinar, “The Connected Car 2016 – Electronics and Software Impacting the Service Car Industry,” will be presented by Colin Bird, IHS senior automotive analyst, IHS Markit, at 2 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Aug. 17.
The webinar was led by Michael Robinet, managing director of automotive advisory services, and was the first in the association’s new Industry Analysis Webinar Series featuring experts on key issues currently facing the industry.
These local events are part of the YANG Regional Meet-Up program, which was launched in June 2015. All young professionals, both members and non-members, under the age of 40 in the industry, are encouraged to attend these events for in-person networking without having to travel far from home.
