Snap-on Diagnostics announces it will continue its support for the MT-Series Scanner with new software releases into 2009 with Software Bundle 9.2, which will feature the latest Snap-on vehicle coverage. Software Bundle 9.2 is scheduled for release in spring 2009.

Snap-on scan tool coverage will continue after that time for the MODIS, SOLUS and ETHOS diagnostic platforms. Snap-on anticipates that repair services for the MT2500VCI and MT2500TSI cartridges will continue through January 1, 2011.

“Snap-on is proud to have supported the MT2500 Scanner for 22 years, an accomplishment not often seen for a computerized product in any industry,” said Gerry Beronja, director, Global Marketing – Snap-on Diagnostics.

Beronja continued, “Snap-on would like to thank the technicians who have made this tool a part of their livelihoods over the years. We look forward to supporting you in the future with tools that will offer even more capabilities to help diagnose vehicles even faster and more accurately than the trusted Snap-on Scanner.”
