SMP Unveils New Corporate and Brand Websites

The new websites have been completely redesigned to be user-friendly, easy to navigate and visually appealing.

Standard Motor Products, Inc. (SMP) recently launched a new family of websites, anchored by its new corporate site, www.smpcorp.com, to serve as a valuable source of information for everyone who visits. They also reflect the company’s position as the leading independent manufacturer and distributor of replacement parts for motor vehicles, according to SMP.

Some of the many new features on smpcorp.com include a graphic history timeline, interactive global location map, video resource center presenting all new SMP facility video tours and “SMP Stories,” a section that highlights SMP innovation and engineering ingenuity. Home page quick links swiftly navigate to SMP brand and division sites, and key brand catalogs.

Every SMP brand and division site has been completely redesigned to serve visitors more efficiently and effectively. Navigation has been streamlined, key catalogs have been redeveloped to provide greater support and brand sites now offer instant access to all www.smpcorp.com resources.

SMP’s updated brand sites include:

www.standardbrand.com

www.bwdbrand.com

www.4s.com

www.bluestreak.ca

www.smpeurope.com

www.haydenauto.com

www.maxairauto.com

www.aciauto.com

www.smpoe.com

Brand site enhancements include broad rollover menus for easy navigation and access to the entire site, tri-lingual video gallery, resource library with downloadable marketing and product brochures, expanded product and marketing feature pages, easy in-site access to technical training – counterperson and technician’s toolbox, and an improved eCatalog.

“The quality of SMP’s products are second to none, and we wanted our new corporate and brand websites to reflect that world-class image,” said Mike Fitzgerald, vice president of marketing, SMP.  “SMP is a high-tech company and we work to provide products with advanced technology solutions. Our new websites further illustrates our position as a leader in the automotive aftermarket.”

The new corporate website, www.smpcorp.com, includes comprehensive information on SMP’s two major operating segments, each of which focuses on a specific line of replacement parts – Engine Management and Temperature Control.

Visitors will also find a section on investor relations with important financial content, such as stock information and annual reports, in addition to a section about making a career at SMP.
