Siemens VDO Expands Application Coverage for TPMS Replacement Parts

Siemens VDO has expanded the company's line of replacement parts for Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) assemblies to include component kits for Mazda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen applications.

Siemens VDO has expanded the company’s line of replacement parts for Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) assemblies to include component kits for Mazda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen applications. The new kits are an addition to the company’s existing sensor assembly and component kit coverage for Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep. Siemens VDO is an OE supplier of TPMS components and systems to these manufacturers as well as 2007 Ford, 2007 GM, 2006 Mercedes-Benz, 2007 Suzuki and 2006 Volkswagen models.

Siemens VDO TPMS replacement parts are identical to the original equipment. Siemens VDO offers both complete sensor assemblies and component kits, which include valve cores, hex nuts, valve caps, seal washers and seals.

While the TPMS assembly only needs to be replaced if it fails or is damaged, the service components will need to be replaced every time a tire is serviced or dismounted, as recommended by the manufacturer. It is important to note that standard tire valve stems cannot be used to replace TPMS tire sensor assemblies, and it is, in fact, illegal to deactivate the TPM system.
