Schumacher Electric has reported that the company is the first full-line manufacturer of battery chargers, maintainers and portable power products to list multiple categories on the California Energy Commission Appliance database.

All battery chargers manufactured after Feb. 1, 2013, and sold in California must be in compliance with the new California Appliance Efficiency Program. As the United States Department of Energy implements regulations that will affect all 50 states, Schumacher says it will have a full range of compliant products.

Schumacher says it will continue to add new products to the database.
