Remy International was selected as a recipient of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance’s Outstanding Shipping Performance Award, presented during the Alliance’s recent annual meeting.

The Alliance, one of the largest auto parts distribution and marketing organizations in North America, recognized suppliers who achieved a 95 percent or better shipping performance in 2013.

"It is an honor for Remy to be recognized by the Alliance," said Frank Frederick, vice president, North American Light Duty Sales at Remy International. "We are dedicated to supporting our channel partners and ensuring they have the right product at the right place at the right time. By doing so, we’re helping them better service their channel partners and build a reputation as a reliable resource for vehicle parts."

Remy targets approximately 98 percent alternator and starter coverage of all light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles operating in North America with remanufactured and brand-new parts.
