Register Your Fall Car Care Month Community Car Care Event Online

Car Care Council's website offers event locator to consumers across the country.

The Car Care Council announces that organizations can register their 2009 Fall Car Care Month community car care events on the council’s website at www.carcare.org/host-an-event/CCM-form.

“Major distributors to small, independent service shops have realized how the ‘Be Car Care Aware’ campaign, and more specifically, Fall Car Care Month, can help build their businesses,” said Rich White, executive director, Car Care Council. “The Car Care Month event locator is very popular with motorists who visit the Car Care Council website. It’s the ‘go to’ place to find community car care events throughout the country.”

Each year, Fall Car Care Month community car care events are conducted nationwide by independent repair shops and auto parts stores, as well as vocational schools and other aftermarket organizations.

“Consumers are conscious of every penny they spend these days, recognizing that maintaining their vehicle is a more efficient alternative than purchasing a new one,” said White. “Car care events during Fall Car Care Month in October are the perfect time to show motorists just how much they can save in the long run through proper vehicle maintenance.”

To help organizations conduct community car care events, the council has launched a Car Care Month Toolkit for aftermarket companies and organizations to find everything they need to participate or get involved with Fall Car Care Month in October. The toolkit can be found by visiting www.carcareindustry.com.

The Car Care Council is the source of information for the “Be Car Care Aware” consumer education campaign promoting the benefits of regular vehicle care, maintenance and repair to consumers. For a free copy of the council’s Car Care Guide or for more information, visit www.carcare.org.
