OTC, an SPX Brand, announces the winners of the Best of America ‘Cash, Scan & Ride’ customer contest. Tanvir Arfi, president of SPX Service Solutions Americas, made the announcement during the award ceremony in Richmond, VA, where the winners live. Gus Fulleborn and James (Mike) Higginbotham were named the lucky grand prize winners and each took home a brand new 2009 Harley-Davidson Street Bob motorcycle.
Fulleborn, the owner of Quincy’s Texaco in Richmond, was selected from a field of more than 500 finalists that included automotive service technicians and automotive repair shop owners from across the United States.
Higginbotham, a veteran automotive salesman, was a participating reseller during the promotion period and he was responsible for selling one of OTC’s qualifying Genisys diagnostic tools to Fulleborn through the CARQUEST stores in Richmond.
The OTC ‘Cash, Scan and Ride’ contest invited professional diagnostic technicians to try their hand at answering a series of critical diagnostic process questions and ultimately take on a comprehensive diagnostic challenge. Fulleborn won the contest on the strength of his accurate answers and his professional approach to diagnostic strategy.
