New Applications For Toyota And Nissan In 2013 BOLT Lock Catalog

BOLT locks are designed to boost convenience and security through the company's patented Breakthrough One-Key Lock Technology, which permanently programs the lock to the owner's ignition key and eliminates the need for extra keys, said the company.

STRATTEC Security Corporation has released a new 12-page BOLT 2013 Catalog featuring the latest product applications for Toyota and Nissan, as well as part numbers for most Ford, GM and Chrysler vehicles.

BOLT locks are designed to boost convenience and security through the company’s patented Breakthrough One-Key Lock Technology, which permanently programs the lock to the owner’s ignition key and eliminates the need for extra keys, said the company.

Once the vehicle ignition key is inserted into the lock cylinder, spring-loaded plate tumblers move up and down until they are matched exactly to that key. The first time the key is rotated, the cylinder is uniquely coded to that key.

BOLT’s product line includes the Padlock 2.0, Toolbox Latch Retrofit Kit, Cable Lock, Trailer Spare Tire Lock, Lock Cylinder and the 5/8-inch and 1/2-inch Receiver Lock. There is also a GM Replacement Handle Assembly designed to allow truck owners to quickly switch from a non-locking to a locking tailgate using BOLT technology.

The 2013 catalog is a quick guide to help consumers identify the type of key an owner has and a chart of each make, model and year BOLT equipment works with. It also gives lock specifications for the Padlock 2.0, Receiver Locks, Cable Locks, Jeep Spare Tire Lock and Trailer Spare Tire.

Consumers can secure a copy of the 2013 Product Line Catalog by emailing [email protected]. To learn more about BOLT product line, visit www.BOLTLock.com.
