CORSA Performance Air Intake Now Offered For Chevy Corvette

CorsaCorvetteCORSA Performance has added air intake applications for 2008-2013 6.2L, 2006-2009 7.0L Z06 and 2005-2007 6.0L Chevy Corvette models (part numbers 45962 and 45860151). The air intake gives enthusiasts a state-of-the-art way to increase engine performance for significant improvements over stock systems, said the company.

CORSA Corvette air intakes feature Pro 5, five-layer filtration technology that removes harmful particulates and channels more clean air through to the engine. It also provides colder air, resulting in significant horsepower and torque improvement.

“Our new air intake designs will help give Corvette owners the driving experience they desire,” said Craig R. Kohrs, vice president and general manager, TMG Performance Products. “We’ve increased air flow and reduced air temperature for quicker throttle response and better fuel economy.”

Construction of the closed box air intake includes an air duct and multiple air scoops that pull clean cool air from under the vehicle and are sculpted to funnel more air volume to the engine. It utilizes larger diameters, unique bends and smooth transitions that create the ultimate gain in horsepower. The design also protects against moisture, dust and debris making their way into the engine.

Flexible heavy duty silicone connectors are used to build in strength and thermal stability along with marine grade clamps that allow for optimal performance throughout a large operating range. The unit is capped with a neoprene insulated cover that deadens sound and features the CORSA Performance logo embossed on top for added style in the engine compartment.

The CORSA Performance air intake system comes with installation instructions and all necessary hoses and adapters. Average installation time is 30-45 minutes.

CORSA’s air intakes are backed by a limited one-year warranty. The company designs its performance air intake for Corvette and other cars, trucks and SUVs to complement its high performance tuned exhaust systems.

CORSA Performance products can be purchased at Summit Racing Equipment, Jegs, AutoAnything.com and other major retailers. To find a dealer by zip code, visit www.CORSAPerformance.com/store_locator.aspx.
