microGreen Filters Launches New Searchable Catalog Powered Through ShowMeTheParts

microGreen filters are designed to help fleet managers and consumers reduce maintenance costs by providing higher filtration performance in a package that is a drop-in replacement for conventional filters.

When SOMS Technologies wanted to create an online catalog for its line of microGreen Extended Performance Filters, its team turned to Vertical Development for help. Using the API from Vertical Development’s ShowMeTheParts (SMTP) database, together they created a searchable catalog integrated into microGreenFilter.com.

microgreen-show-me-combined-logomicroGreen filters are designed to help fleet managers and consumers reduce maintenance costs by providing higher filtration performance in a package that is a drop-in replacement for conventional filters. The company says this extends oil life, decreasing oil change intervals for material and labor costs over an engine’s life. microGreen filters are designed for a wide range of equipment from small engines to larger gas and diesel engines.

To help make the transition to microGreen filters as simple as possible, SOMS Technologies worked with Vertical Development to develop a catalog based around the ShowMeTheParts database. This catalog allows customers to find compatible microGreen filters using either vehicle information or part numbers. Using Vertical Development’s APIs, SOMS Technologies was able to integrate the catalog into their own website, giving customers access to parts information from computers and mobile devices.

“Partnering with Vertical Development has taken a lot of the work out of creating a new fully-integrated web catalog. By using ShowMeTheParts, we’re able to leverage the existing databases and quickly add new parts and application information to the system, shortening the time it takes to roll out new products,” said Steve Schurman, vice president of sales at SOMS Technologies. “Customers visiting our website can immediately find filters to fit their needs, helping them easily find the correct microGreen filters for their application.”

To access the new searchable catalog, visit microGreenFilter.com and use the Filter Finder.
