Matco Tools Names Second Annual Distributor’s Choice Award Winners at 2013 Tool Expo

The Matco Tools Expo was teaming with distributors finding out about the latest tools and equipment. Matco Tools’ distributors have chosen the newly launched Maximus diagnostic tablet as this year’s Distributor’s Choice award winner. Hundreds of distributors, who were among the 2,700+ attendees of the 2013 Matco Tools Expo held recently at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, chose the Maximus diagnostic tablet. Jaltest’s heavy-duty diagnostic equipment was voted second place, and the full-coverage C-Reader Pro code scanner followed in third.
The top three choices were among more than 229 new products displayed at the expo, 72 of which were exclusive to the Matco brand.
Matco Tools created the award to highlight products that have made advancements in the areas of functional design and construction, while providing a true innovative solution for Matco’s customers.
“Our distributors are the best judges for this award because they understand the needs of the automotive industry, and know which tools will be successful in the market,” says John Green, vice president of marketing and ecommerce for Matco Tools.
Attendees were treated to an appearance from 2012 NHRA Top Fuel World Champion Antron Brown, who signed autographs and took photos with delighted fans.
