Lubegard by International Lubricants, Inc. (ILI) recently launched a new preventive maintenance program called “Love My Ride,” which provides repair facilities with point-of-sale materials designed to help sell highly profitable services directly to customers.

Lubegard’s “Love My Ride” materials, which are free with participation in the program, include a preventive maintenance center display, exterior sign, ceiling mobile, vehicle inspection cards and more. The signage speaks directly to the customers’ needs and informs them to ask for a free inspection. Recognizing that for many shops this may be a new type of sales category, Lubegard is also offering cash incentives and free online sales training classes as part of the program package.

Frank Erickson, president and CEO of ILI, said, “Unlike other preventive maintenance programs, we do not require the use or purchase of proprietary equipment. We’ve taken out all the risk by keeping it simple and easy to make money with this program.”

The current lineup of services covered by the Lubegard Love My Ride program includes: transmission care, coolant system care, fuel system care, power steering care, engine oil care and HVAC system care.

ILI manufactures products under the trade names Lubegard, Squeak Relief, Kool-It, Dr. Tranny and Pro II 9000.
