Just because National Car Care Month in April has come to an end, it doesn’t mean you can’t still participate in the “Be Car Care Aware” campaign! Here are things you can do in June to help educate your customers on the benefit of regular vehicle maintenance and repair:

• Encourage your customers to be prepared for the summer driving season. The Car Care Council has tips for keeping your engine cool and how now, more than ever, the traditional driving vacation makes more sense with airfares soaring this summer.

• Download and share free car care podcasts. The Car Care Council recently made its debut on iTunes, launching a new series of Car Care Minute podcasts to help motorists learn more about caring for their vehicle investment. Click here for the first three installments or search iTunes for “Car Care Council.”

• Purchase and distribute the Car Care Guide to your customers. The Car Care Guide is available electronically and includes important maintenance tips on the battery, air conditioning service and much more.
