Ingersoll Rand, a global leader in professional tools and equipment, received a Top 5 Tools Award from TechShop magazine for the eighth straight year. This is the only tool and equipment award in the industry chosen by technicians and shop owners.
Award winners are determined by the number of times a company or product is mentioned between January and December 2012 in the “Top 5 Favorite Tools” section of TechShop. The Ingersoll Rand 2135TiMAX impact wrench and the 1105MAX-D2 air ratchet were the two products mentioned by readers that solidified the win.
The 2135TiMAX is Ingersoll Rand’s top-selling impact wrench. It weighs in at only 3.95 pounds and is capable of producing 780 ft-lb of torque, giving it the best power-to-weight ratio in its class.
