As a sidebar to a recent article that appeared in The Journal Gazette, 100,000 miles and beyond, writer Jaclyn Youhana interviewed Master Technician Jim Cramer of Summit City Car Care in Fort Wayne, IN. According to Cramer, about 75 percent of the cars seen at his repair shop have at least 1000,000 miles on them.
“I think it’s partially due to the fact that people take better care of their cars because they’re trying to make them last because they can’t afford to buy new ones,” Cramer told the reporter.
