Goodson Tools & Supplies for Engine Builders announces the acquisition of the assets and product lines of Goodtool Brake Service Tools & Supplies.

Goodtool Brake Service Tools & Supplies has been supplying brake service companies with replacement parts, cutting tips, silencers and more for brake lathes since 1996. With the acquisition, Goodtool’s product lines will be available as a brand from Goodson Tools & Supplies.

According to Goodson Sales Manager, Dave Monyhan, “It just makes sense. Bringing a line of brake tooling into the mix will give our customers even more ways to serve their customers.”

Goodtool Brake Service Tools & Supplies will begin operating under the Goodson name on January 1, 2012. “Until then, it’s business as usual,” says Monyhan. He added that the transition should be relatively seamless as account information and buying history will be consolidated. “If a customer has bought from Goodtool before, Goodson will now be able to deliver same quality products, plus a whole lot more.”
