“A lot of aftermarket suppliers will say ‘here’s a ‘60’ that fits, but it may have come out of an entirely different vehicle and not be technically applicable,” said Chris Thomas, transmission/advanced propulsion portfolio manager for GM SPO. “All of our reman products are plug-and-play, have the original specified calibration and come with significant updates that remedy any deficiencies which may have been in earlier versions. So what the customer gets is often much better than the original.”
