“When you think of creativity and leadership in motorsports you think of Brian Deegan,” said Josh Gordon, marketing director for FRAM Filtration. “We’re excited to be able to work with not only a phenomenal driver, but also a pioneer in motorsports. Being aligned with Brian gives FRAM Filtration the opportunity to connect with a younger demographic that may not have had exposure to the brand.”

The official announcement was made during a press conference held yesterday at the annual Performance Racing Industry Show in Orlando and was followed by an autograph signing and fan meet-and-greet with Deegan. Fans and show attendees were also encouraged to engage with FRAM and Deegan through social media channels, which included a dedicated Twitter hashtag #DeeganFRAM.

"I’m excited and honored to be working with FRAM and adding such an established company to my team," said Deegan. “The support of my incredible sponsors is what allows me to pursue my passion every day. I see a bright future with our relationship and look forward to winning championships with them.”

Deegan is one of the original champions of freestyle motocross, a sport and lifestyle he loves sharing with fans and fellow riders. In recent years, he has expanded his presence in motorsports to include Rallycross, a form of sprint-style automobile racing, and off-road truck racing. Deegan has 15 X Games medals to his name, and has won four Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Championships in the past three years. In 2012 alone, Deegan took home the Championship in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Pro 2 premier class, a Bronze medal in X Games Rallycross, and an impressive second place overall in his first full year competing in the Global Rallycross series.

The 2013 season will have FRAM joining marquee brands such as Rockstar Energy, Ford, DVS, Lucas Oil and Makita as official partners of Deegan Motorsports.
