Federated Car Care Center Member Wins 2010 Camaro at Federated 300

When Jennifer Palmer and her husband Russell came home from their weekend trip to the Federated Auto Parts 300 Nationwide NASCAR race in Nashville, they had one extra trinket that other people attending the race didn't have, a brand new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro.

When Jennifer Palmer and her husband Russell came home from their weekend trip to the Federated Auto Parts 300 Nationwide NASCAR race in Nashville, they had one extra trinket that other people attending the race didn’t have, a brand new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro.

“We want to congratulate Jennifer on winning the Federated 2010 Camaro,” said Phil Moore, senior vice president of Federated Auto Parts.  “It was a great weekend for all our guests, but I am guessing Jennifer and Russell might have had a little better time than everyone else since they drove home in their new Camaro.  We want to thank all our members and their guests, as well as our supplier partners and loyal Federated Car Care members who made the 15th annual Federated 300 a great success.”

Each year Federated awards a new vehicle to one of its 1,200 hospitality guests during the pre-race festivities.  After the guests drew a number, NASCAR legend Ken Schrader called On-Star from the Camaro and On-Star announced the winning number belonging to Jennifer Palmer.  Her husband Russell works at Federated Car Care Center member McCarty’s Auto and Truck Repair in Owensboro, KY, a customer of Gipe Automotive, a Federated Auto Parts member.

In addition to the Federated Camaro giveaway, fans also enjoyed a pre-race benefit concert featuring John Rich to benefit the flood relief efforts of Hands on Nashville, while a nationwide audience tuned in the broadcast of the Federated 300 on ESPN2.  The near-capacity crowd saw Brad Keselowski cross the finish line first to capture the checkered flag.
