It sits there, forgotten, out-of-sight under the hood. No recognition, no appreciation, no TLC. It does its job every day, reliably. Unless you do something to it, or ignore it and don’t maintain it. Then, you call it every inappropriate name in the book, question its parentage and threaten it with banishment.
